Luci
On a positive note for the Sunbeam--it's much easier to store. The "mixer" part can be removed easily so that you do not have to have a tall space for storage. It also weighs a lot less than the KA. I still haven't found a suitable place to keep my KA, and I sure don't have the counter space to keep it out all the time.
eugenia
I have my Mom's KA, has to be 25 years old at least and still going strong.
Kymber
My boys bought me a KA Professional for Christmas this year. Wasn't even something I thought I wanted and I have used it a grand total of 2 times so far....LOL BUT plan on trying it out on this FBB I just got and a few other things I have been trying to find the time to do. I keep mine on the counter in the corner....it's a tall thing but fits fine and is out of the way. I wasn't sure I liked the lift bowl at first though. Really thought I would have preferred the tilt head instead........after I try it out I guess I'll find out. LOL
Morganst
I got my KA for Christmas and have used it just for baking and LOVE IT. I haven't used it for my B&B stuff yet (DH would kill me). I'm planning on getting an extra bowl, whisks & mixer just for my B&B stuff.
