It's the kind you take a sweater and turn it into a purse?There is a website I have bought some ebooks from and they came out with one to do these sweater purses. I have never made a purse before so am wondering how hard they are. TexasBrat Posted February 10, 2007 Share Posted February 10, 2007 Yes, I have made one before, it was hard to find wool sweaters down here in Texas but I managed to find one at Goodwill. It was easy to make. I just saw the site....mine was made by felting a wool sweater and then making it into a purse. I did not make one from just a sweater. TexasBrat Posted February 10, 2007 Share Posted February 10, 2007 They don't have to be made of wool unless you are wanting to felt it since 100% wool will shrink and become one solid piece of fabric. Like what happens when you accidentally wash a wool sweater in hot water..it shrinks. Then you just make a purse out of the fabric.
