RobinInOR
Yup, you need to poke relief holes. As the wax cools it shrinks. Since you didn't let the tension up with relief holes, it pulled in the sides...
cybersix
so the problem it's me!!!! but.. the relief holes.. I have to poke them into every layer? Or only in the last??
Fern
I poke relief holes at the very end. Be sure to poke those holes three quarters of the way through the candle and re-open them periodically until it has fully set up...this way the sides won't suck in.
