cnsaitch Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 What a cool idea! I love those! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of paint did you use on those? Quote
gingerinarkansas Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Those look great...that's what I want to do. Is the screen the metal kind or the other or does it matter. Ginger Quote

PaulaR Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 they are the fiberglass screen, I never tried the steel/metal. I just use my arcrylic craft paints. then spray them with a clear sealant. I am trying to find the racoons i did this summer. It was on the window last time I looked. lol maybe i should look at my neighbors windows more often lol !!!!! If you can paint you can do the screens the neat thing is , that the paint doesnt clog the holes so the screen is still functionable. When the sunshines on them they look solid, you cant see in the house. at night you can but not if the sun is on them. I love doing them, This summer my sliding door is going to be the project to do. lindsaycb Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 See now I've seen people do those as actual art pieces to hang on walls...but now on the actual windows! Who needs to put art on they're walls! OH MY...love it. I want you to come & do my back porch Quote
