Shawnee
My son's class...and this is gross...had a mouse get into a tote that was out in their shed and have babies! Well in that tote was some vital classroom materials. One of which is a piece of felt with ocean creatures printed on it. I was asked to wash it and cut out the animals. How the heck can I do it without ruining it?

girlyracer
You definitely DON'T want to put felt in the washing machine as this will shrink and distort it. Best thing to do would be to hand wash it in a mild detergent for woollens or silk. Once rinsed, gently squeeze out the excess water, pull it into shape and dry flat. You may want to put something heavy on top whilst it is drying to stop it curling at the edges.Ruby
