snow
I want to make heart shaped chunkies and put them into a heart shaped metal mold. I want to do the chunks in red and over-pour in white. My question is...I use J50, should I use that wax for the chunks or Astor V? I'm thinking I should use the votive wax for the heart mold. Is that right? J50 is so soft I'm afraid the chunks won't work right. I'm sure someone has done this but I can't find the info I need. Thanks so much
snow
well I did it and it turned out pretty neat looking But I'd like a more transparent look, what do I use to get that? I'll post a pic in the gallery tomorrow.
countrychunkie
I make chunk candles, and I use ez soy/4630 blend, and my candles are great! Used to use the 223 before 4630 and those were good as well. I have never used the j50 so I can't speak for that wax. All my chunks are colored and over poured with just the natural color of the wax. I have had no trouble at all, I make containers and melts. HTH. Maybe someone that has used your wax will come along and be able to help you more.Have a great night!Kim:grin2:
