Something other than a light shade of grey?If you make your candle very opaque (several ways to do this) and maybe even add white color, you can just use a bit of black to get a silver grey if that's what you have in mind. I think it would just be important to add it to what would otherwise be a white candle rather than translucent, otherwise it'll look murky.
