anagram
I just made my first batch of candles with candle fragrance and guess what? They don't smell at all. I weighed the wax and used an ounce of scent per pound. Any ideas on why? Also, is the melting temperature of the wax important so that you don't start a fire or is it important so the candle will form/burn properly. Thanks you guys. These boards rock! eugenia
Depends on where the scent is from; you might want to try 1.5 oz per lb. Also keep in mind that candles will smell better if you give them a few days before burning.e
tlc26
It could be candle nose! Sometimes the day after I make a certain scent, I can't smell it, but others can. tempurature is importnant in many aspects of candle making. both as for your question
