Kelly
Pouring slushy scares me! I get down to the end of pouring and there is almost always this 'crystally' slushy substance at the bottom of my pouring glass which makes me think that the FO didn't completely incorporate into the wax.Can someone please relieve my fears and tell me that isn't FO?Kelly
Meridith
Do you give your wax a good stir (being careful to get air bubbles) before pouring to make sure all the FO is still incorporated in the wax? It does sound though like its just the wax and not FO - FO would look oily.
Kelly
Yes I do give a stir right before pouring (very gentle), this isn't oily at all, it look like round little crystals, when dry slightly bumpy appearance. I'm not having a good night with my candles tonight.
Meridith
Sounds like it might just be wax and not FO. When the candle sets up check for any oil seepage. If none, you should be O.K.
Kelly
I just popped them out of the cups actually and they look fine other than a little frosting. Ok, thanks, I won't worry about it, especially since they still smell fantastic (cabernet).
