7 Pawz
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can pour this wax for votives? I tried pouring cool, didn't like the way they looked, even though there was less shrinkage. Poured hotter, around 180 and of course, shriinkage. I thought this was a 1 pour, no additives needed. The scent throw is fantastic, either way, I just would like them to look better:o I used IGI 1343, for pillars, votives and tarts, no trouble, candles looked great. Any help is appreciated:smiley2:
cindym
You have to do 2 pours.
OH Cathy
I use a lot of Astor V and pour it at 150. I get smooth tops.

7 Pawz
Thanks everyone for your response. :smiley2: I'll try again & see what happens. I really like the wax, I used black cherry by BCS for the votives and you could really smell them hot or cold.:smiley2: I burned one votive, it scented a fairly large size living area, I couldn't believe my nose!:smiley2: Especially since I seem not to be able to "smell" lately. Have a Merry Christmas!
