Beeswax Pillar

My local supplier is going to start carrying beeswax. I got some samples yesterday and made this small pillar. I think it turned out pretty good. I am burning it now to see if it is wicked correctly. I have a friend that absolutely loves beeswax candles. I am going to make a few and send them to her for a surprise Christmas gift!

Update: I do not need to wick up..the 6 is perfect.

Thanks!

It is a Wedo RD wick 6 (not RRD). I do not know much about them. It is actually the perfect size. The pillar is 2X4.5 and it burns out and leaves a very thin wall that you tuck back into the wax...or hug as one of my beeswax friends told me!

Hug:

By pushing the sides of the candle into the melted pool and leveling it out,

the wax will rise, thus shortening the wick. It’s like a little waxen hug.

Not sure what kind of mold it is it was given to me?????
