I think it turned out pretty good. I am burning it now to see if it is wicked correctly. I have a friend that absolutely loves beeswax candles. Henryk Posted December 15, 2006 Share Posted December 15, 2006 Looks just like a BW pillar should - very nice and smooth! What type of mold did you use, and for the wick - do you mean a #6 square? jakalex Posted December 15, 2006 Author Share Posted December 15, 2006 Thanks! It is a Wedo RD wick 6 (not RRD). I do not know much about them. It is actually the perfect size. The pillar is 2X4.5 and it burns out and leaves a very thin wall that you tuck back into the wax...or hug as one of my beeswax friends told me!Hug: By pushing the sides of the candle into the melted pool and leveling it out,the wax will rise, thus shortening the wick. I have several wicks that I am testing and this is one of them. Maybe it is not available yet. If I find out anymore info I will update.
