mytime
been doing the b & b for 3 yrs now and would love to try my hands on making candles (seems like fun:D) anyway this would be a christmas gift for me from my mom and dad so i get to pick it out!! I want to know what company makes a great kit with great detailed instructions so i could learn the basics of candle making. thankscheryl
AngelaVA
Peak, Millcreek and Bittercreek all have great kits. Millcreek has a soy wax kit and some great FOs. Peak's kit is more expensive, but includes more stuff. You get more Fos, but you don't get to choose them. Bittercreek is what I started with and have no complaints either. If this is a Christmas gift, try to score a gift certificate to Daystar or Old Mill too. They don't have candle kits, but they have some awesome FOs to try
Scented
Peaks is who I'd recommend for kits. If you go with pillars, get some wick pins though (additional) and you might try to sneak in a few scents too ... they have a ton of really good ones!
