SSR Candles
Most things I have read say to keep it about 140 if you're going to leave it heated. I have no personal recommendations, since I'm not large enough yet to need to heat large quantities...
Theresa1
I only make mine for fun. I don't sell.
SSR Candles
Well, I *try* to sell... doesn't always work, tho...I don't leave my wax heated at all when I'm not using it - I only do small batches, and I don't have a melting tank, just a tiny double-boiler. PamR
I use turkey roasters & never leave it on overnight. I had a thermostat go haywire once & overheated the wax, so I turn off & unplug my roasters at about midnight. Since I keep them full, they never completely cool overnight & it only takes about 30 minutes in the morning to get it back to pouring temp. Everito Bandito
5 to 10 degrees above the wax's melting temp.
