  1. I lay 2 boards down then put the slab on top. Then chisel in the middle. I do it on the basement floor. Once I did it on my kitchen counter(my new counter) and hit it so hard the chisel stuck in the counter. I kept the part covered with objects for weeks..
  2. I am pretty new to this board. Who is Bruce? and where do I find him?
  3. It is acrylic that is heated. you use it as a final dip on cut and carve candles. It looks like a hard mound of clear gel when it is not hot. It is like the spray on but ie suppose to take more uniformly if you use the dip. I really don't know much more except that I want some.
  4. Does anyone know where I can but acrylic gel for candles?
  5. I have brand new molds and I am still getting seam lines(enough they say they are seamless). Where can I buy more that are a high quaulity? I am so fustrated. but they are burning and smelling fantastic!
  6. I feel the same way. I was better when I stareted. what happened?
  7. I only make mine for fun. I don't sell.
  8. What is a safe temp.to leave my wax on when I am done for the day? I have alot of wax so it can't be shut done all the way.
  9. No, you need to add water under the 6 vats to cover the heating element and surround the vats. I turned it down last night to 140 and the wax still was not melted. Now I know why the instructions say to leave it on 24/7.
  10. I started at 10:30 this day and it still is not all melted. Now I know why the say to leave it on 24/7. But it was almost there, so I added another 5 lbs. to each. So I have 25 lbs in each vat. I am hoping to start making candle on Tuesday. Wish me luck. By the way, the vat that I have took 47 gallons of water. WOW.
