Katherine Posted December 2, 2006 Share Posted December 2, 2006 Does anyone use either of these two bases:WSP's Silky Body Butter and WSP's Luxury Mist?I've been using them for a while & scenting them as per the guidelines on the jugs: .5% (or 1/2 tsp per 16 oz of base)I'm not happy with the scenting & feel I need more FO to cover the butter base's natural smell and the Luxury Mist needs to be much stronger.Does anyone use these & scent at a higher percentage? candlebean Posted December 2, 2006 Share Posted December 2, 2006 I had a hard time trying to cover the scent of the body butter base too - I couldn't do it without adding a ton of FO which I couldn't do safely. I switched to the soy whip body butter base from KY, which has no odor to it at all and can handle 1-3% FO - I use 2% and it's awesome! I tried the body mist from WSP but I thought it was way too sticky - I now also use the mist from KY and it is much better. It has an alcohol smell to it at first, but within 10-15 seconds after you spray it, the alcohol smell goes away.
