dhoneywell
I need to what am i doing wrong, I 'm using 1oz frangrance to 1 lb wax and for some reason my candles scents are not as strong as I would like them to be. In other words when you smell my candles you do smell the frangrance but when the candle are lite I'm not smelling the buring aroma of the frangance. Also when referring to color mixing what exactly does "1 part" mean?
Gravity
What kind of wax are you using? Some waxes require a curing time between pouring and burning in order for the scent to throw. I've found generally a week is a good starting point for the particular wax that I use. Others require only a day or two, some overnight.... SliverOfWax
Who are you buying fo from? There are vast differences between suppliers. Buy samples and test for yourself. Don't go by price and don't go by what others say. Many waxes hold more than 6%. It wouldn't hurt to bump up the fo load and see if your results are improved.
