eugenia
With my new Dell 3110CN laser printer. I can't believe the difference in the few labels that I printed today as opposed to my dinosaur HP inkjet. Merry Christmas to me!
mystical_angel1219
Was the HP you had a laser?LOVE laser printers. The speed, clarity and overall finished appearance is so much nicer than any inkjet, IMO. Plus they are so affordable now.

As far as the affordable, I found it on Froogle for $359 + tax w/free shipping from Sam's. It's not showing now, so I guess I got very lucky! You are right about the speed, clarity and appearance for sure.

SSR Candles
Keep us posted on how it does in the future - I'm definitely thinking about one, but there's not too much reliability info out on them yet...
fmsojka
I would be very interested in knowing too. I bought one a few months ago, but not been very happy with it. Same model. It streaks the labels, even when I clean it. It won't feed certain ones, like the foil ones. I worked with Dell, and with the company that makes the foils. But no luck. Maybe I just don't know how to use it. I have always used Inkjets, this is my first laser. On a clear label, with black ink, it is awesome, if it doesn't streak. I also find that it seems to use the cartridges faster than I had hoped. They are very expensive. But it is super fast, that is for sure. I think the biggest problems is certain types of paper.Like I said, it could be me. I really hate breaking in new equipment. We bought a new computer and a new printer at the same time, been fighting them both ever since.
fmsojka
Okay, I read the first one better, it is a different printer. I would then the one I got. Must be a more expensive model. I would say well worth the money. They probably ironed out some kinks with the step up model.
woolfswickery
I have a Dell 3010cn laser printer and I love mine. Prints really great and fast as well. The only problem I have is I KEEP USING TOO MUCH INK! But i guess that is a good thing though it means I have candles and soap needed labeling!
