tamsoycandles
Is there any veggie wax suitable for doing a hurricane shell similar to what is in the instructions under the "Techniques & Ideas"? I've got some palm/soy crystaline pillar wax that would probably look neat. Just curious if anyone has tried this out.Tony
ChrisR
Try adding some mico or gloss poly to your wax to raise the melt point and see if that works. I don't know if it would mess with the crystaline look, but can't hurt to try!!

I guess I need to give something a try and report back to base....
Kaybee23
The only thing I was able to add to that wax without it messing up the crystal effect too much was vybar 343. I am not sure though with the melt point, that it would be suitable for a hurricane. You are really shooting for something that is transluscent, so you can see the nice glow through it. It doesn't hurt to experiment, you never know. I would pass on it though.
