Tracy K
Does anyone use this wax for their tarts/melts? If so, how do you like it and what kind of cold/hot throws do you get? Thinking of trying it out. Thanks
Accents
I use the V-1 for my votives and melts. I find I need to add some container wax to keep them from cracking, though; it's kind of brittle.
Cindy/WI
I use Cargill V 1 also for my tart, I pour in clam shells and have never had any problem with cracking but today I started testing the 416 wax by GB and granted I just started testing and have only burned 1 scent so far but holy crap after letting it burn all day I had to put it out. I used Strawberry Jam from BCN. My whole house smells sooo good, but my eyes started to burn some from it being so strong. So if you haven't bought the V 1 wax I strongly recommend trying the 416 first. HTH Cindy/WIPS: Do a search on here on the 416 wax and read what other have said about it. That's what made me want to try it and I'm so glad I did.
