Kelly
I posted this in another thread and got to thinking...:I'm currently testing HTP-73's in 8oz JJ's with EZ Soy and I'm getting a full MP at 2 hours. I was going to wick up but I don't even see the need for it. My jar diameter is 2.5 but I won't wick down. I still can't figure out why I'm able to use HTP-73's while most people are using 104's. I could use 104's but it would burn to hot I think...It seems like, according to my research most people are using HTP-104 in their 8oz JJs, so I wicked up, and my jar got so hot. Why is the smaller wick working for me when it seems like everyone else needs to wick up?Any ideas or suggestions would be very much welcomed! ~~Kelly~~
Gravity
I dunno... the 73's sure don't cut it for me. I've got to use the 104's as well.
CelestialSoyCandles
It also would depend on how much fragrance oil you are using as that affects the wicking and also sometimes types of oils. Some of the heavy oils need to be wicked up and maybe you havent used any of those.. JMOHeather
