rredd
The instructions I have read on various web sites say to print photos on plain paper for hurricane candles. The quality of the photos I have printed on plain paper are not as good as using photo paper. I set my printer to print "photos", using a jpeg file. I am interested to what you do to print pictures to use on hurricane candles. What type of paper, printer settings, photo file type, etc. Thanks! sharyl55
I use 24# Premium White HP paper, paste my jpg photo in a Word doc, set printer properties for premium or bright white paper, and select Best for print quality. It is important to print well in advance so the paper dries thoroughly.
rredd
Thanks sharyl555, my choices for printing are plain, heavy weight matte, photo glossy, premium photo paper. I guess I should choose heavy weight matte?
ChrisR
I've always used plain ole copy paper with the printer set on 'best' and have never had any problems with great quality pics!!
snow
I think the 24# bright white works much better than any other paper. I always scan my pic to photo HP photo and imaging and fix it up if I have to or add text and then print it out. That works the best for me. I used the wrong paper in the begining and had all sorts of problems.
rredd
Thanks for your help everyone. I am going to try the 24#, bright white paper. Thanks!!
sharyl55
With those print options I'd try premium photo paper. Good Luck with the 24# paper. I saw a real improvement when I went to it.
