julwid
Hi all,I am in IL. and am looking for J-50. My supplier price has really shot up so I was wondering where everyone that uses J-50 gets theirs from and the price they get it for. Thanks in advance for your responses.julwid
Rob in tx
I don't use this wax, but I did a Google search with j-50 wax in the box, and came up with several suppliers of this wax.....BCN, CandleScience,Tristate candle supplies just to name a few...HTH
junebug
I think Candlescience has cheaper shipping than BCN. You may want to check it out!I also found CandleScience to have lower prices...at least on what I was ordering.I still like BCn's fo's etc though.I am in CA and have ordered from both.HTH!:highfive:
Tizimarezie
In case you're interested, I have an 11 pound slab of J-50 that I received from BCN about a month ago. I will never use it and so I listed it (earlier today) in the Classified section on this forum.
NotJustFragrances
I just bought a pallet of it.... so if you need some, I can spare some cases of it.Edited to say: Forgive me, my order guy had called it Astor V but it actually is IGI 4794, guess we changed. I think maybe I should investigate my own business closer! lolAnyway if you would like to try the 4794 I have it. Sorry again

Neither would be suitable for containers. However both of those waxes mixed 50/50 with the J50 is wonderful for tarts and clamshells. Depending on where you are located I would start there for suppliers. Makescents has great prices, so does candlescience. But if you are on the west coast then you would not be saving anything when you factor in shipping.HTHWhoops didn't read IL. Yes those two suppliers I mentioned would be fine then to have wax shipped to you. Candlescience has great shipping rates. They don't pad the cost either. cindym
Candlescience has the best prices on wax, the suppliers closer to me were in the 70 dollar range candlescience is in the 50 dollar range and their shipping is better than the suppliers closer to me, go figure. julwid
Thank you all for your response. Candlescience I did check out and it is $62.95 a case. Cindym did the recently raise their price since you last ordered.
