bassgal71
I saw in an online store one time an electric hot knife that can be used for finishing off pillar candles. I went back to get one and they don't carry them anymore. Any ideas where I can find one? TIA

Candle Man
The only way I could see doing this is sliding the pillar part way out of the mold then laying it on it's side then cut the wax even with the bottom of the mold. That's the only way I can see getting the pillar level, with this method.IMO I don't think the knife gets hot enough to cut votive, pillar or hurricane wax. Tammy1048
I bought an electric hot knife but when I used it to level the candle some of the wax ran back up in the mold....wasted my money if you ask me...Tammy
