jade
I tried this recipe for "scentabuns" & it was so dry I had to add more & more glycerin. Thinking it would be too greasy, I intended to add FCO but grabbed the bottle of cyclo instead. When I realized what I'd done, I added the FCO too. Now I have a GREASY mess of FCO & cyclo plus the recipe ingredients & there is no way I'm going to get what I planned. Is there anything I can add to lessen the oilyness of it all and use it for something else? Thanks for any suggestions!!2 Cups Baking Soda1/4 Cup Cream Of Tartar 1 Cup Natrasorb Bath1 Cup Epsom Salt1/2 Cup SLSA1/4 - 1/2 Cup Glycerin
soapermom
could you keep adding more starch and maybe citric to maybe and get a usuable bubble bar or bomb? I don't know what the cyclo will do to the recipe.I have made this recipe many times and never had a problem with it being too dry, I just kept kneading the glycerin in really well a bit at a time.
