cleanglow
Does anyone know the trick to eliminate these or never have them in the 1st place? I've poured and tested but it's still hit or miss. I don't like using the heat gun to get rid of them because then the wax looses some of its crystal effects. Please help me if you can. I can't take it anymore. I love this wax and finally have the wicking down, but no matter how much I test and take notes, I can't seem to figure the repour lines out! Kaybee23
I didn't work with palm that much. But what I did, was keep the relief holes open and then just fill them and a bit over, just to barely cover the top, so the line wasn't really noticable. funnygirl
I make a lot of palm pillars, and this is what I do. I pour all the way to the top of the mold. When I get a good "crust" on top, i go a head and poke my relief holes. As the candle is setting up, I will go back and poke into my relief holes to keep them open. After the candle is completely dry, I REMOVE it from the mold and set it upside down on my counter. I then take the heated wax for my repour, and I slowly drip it into the relief holes untill they are all filled. No second pour lines.
