lsbennis Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 I just ordered some oils from Daystar...what has been my experience is that there are several FO's that I really like and will pay the money for but it is like anything else you have to test to see how they work in your wax...Im using Soy and not all of their oils throw for me so it really does not matter how much they are if you can't get a smell out of them. Here are the ones I use:Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies - my all time favBird of Paradise - as close as I have found to the Circle E scentBetter than Sex Cake - I personally love this one - great pineapple scentButtercream Frosting - best BF out there!Lace Gloves - can't get good throw from candles but great in tarts!Peach Jam Cheesecake - awesome peach scentNana's Country Pound Cake - love it! Great bakery scent. Good for B&B Ooh La La - Subtle but awesomePurple Haze - Very uniqueStarry Eyes - Love it!Ultimate Vanilla - reminds me of CC's Vanilla Voodoo. Great strong vanillaParadise - reminds me of a big margarita. Very strong!Sun Kissed Mangos - strong mangoIlle Flottante - from her new Dreamy Desserts. Haven't put in wax yet.Sampaquita - smells good OOB but a little subtle.Spring Flower - smells great OOB. You'll see reviews for it all over this board. Of the 15 or so samples I haven't poured yet, I keep sticking my nose in the Purple Haze bottle. Something about it I just really like, and the melonberry tea is delish, gotta pour that too, think it would be divine in B&B. The rootbeer granita, smells just like rootbeer to me.
