Scented Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 No, I don't believe it will stand alone as a good mold, especially for larger candles. The heat tends to make the clay wilt (having tried this once before) but you might try it with some supports such as a sturdy cardboard. Scented Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 She wants to try to make them? If you don't want to buy them, what about trying milk cartons? Cottage cheese cartons? Yogurt cartons? Juice cans etc. When I first started dang near everything was a mold. If I thought it would release, I tried it. Ended up using a lot of different things.
