bebedahls
I was just curious as to if you could dip bears in Joy Wax fron NG. I know its a container wax, but wasnt sure if the soy/ paraffin would work with stuffed animals. Has anyone tried this? Thanks in advance. grammafransfixins
I have done bears in soy container, soy pillar, mix of those. Paraffin container, pillar and a mix.. and as far as I am concerned..it all works. Just have to dip at diffent temps and comb out faster ....LOLDepending on the wax and the temp you dip you may have some flaking.. but just heat the critter up with a heat gun after and that will fix it HTH

pdevine
I use Joy for my containers and I would think it would be so soft that it would make a real big mess on the inside of the bear with any movement at all. I personally wouldn't dip bears in it for that reason, that and it would be greasy to the touch. I normally use embed, pillar or votive wax for mine.
