Glowlite
I use a pillar wax and use zinc cores. They burn better and give a longer burn. HTH

SatinDucky
Also, make sure you coat the bottom of the floater with wax after you wick it, if you use wick pins. You don't want water leaking through and putting the flame out. I've only tried a couple, but managed to goof them..lol
Fairy_Light
I always put a small layer of wax on the bottom and add the wick. Then after it has started to get a film on the top of the disc I add the rest of my wax (not too hot as it will cause the wick to release and possibly move) other then that and votive or pillar mold works great for me. hawaiiansun
can you use a regular tart mold for this?
jenniejr
can you use a regular tart mold for this? That's a good question. I have not used them for floaters, but had wondered myself if anyone does use them that way.
