Googs
I'm still experimenting, I'll receive my first order of 1343 on tuesday. My stupid question is, Why is necessary to prime a wick? I haven't been doing it, and my candle are burning very nicely! If I need do this, is it necessary to do the whole wick or just a few inches? Thanks for you help!Scott
candlesprite7
I do the whole thing, It helps to get the air bubbles out and they light easier when you burn the candle. It also helps keep the wick straight while wicking the mold.
Fern
You don't have to prime the wick. I only prime the wick if I'm using wick pins. If not, I just use the raw wicking. Either way works fine.
