elitenaildesign
I want to make some peppermint foot balm. Is there some ingredient to add to make it get that icy cold feeling that soothes the feet, or does that naturally come with the scent. I hope that makes sense. blazerina
Hi- I haven't started making anything yet really but i've been reading the boards a lot and I'm guessing someone will chime in with 'menthol cyrstals'. I've seen them on some of the sites and plan on using some myself. They are bigger sized from what i've seen but you can grind them down yourself. (with precautions taken to not create or breath in too much menthol dust)But I think you ask a very good question... will the peppermint fo do the same as most cinnamon and warm type oils... only opposite? I think also something like Eucalyptus would be cooling. But again, im not really sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in!
