Lady Di
Do I HAVE to list these stupid INCI names on my labels? ListingMatricaria recutita (Chamomile) Flower Extract, instead of just plainChamomile Extract, sucks the romance right out of it, to me. Not tomention these inch-long words take up a whole lotta space on the label. I've got one ingredient where the INCI is 3 lines long! What kind of trouble can I get into if I just list the simple names? Are the INCI Label Police really out there waiting to swarm?Dianne
Beth-VT
Yes. And yes again (only becasue the first yes was too short to post).
smokymountainraine
You can use the inci name or the common name. For instance you can use Chamomile Extract. When using a preservative you do do have to use the inci. You can't just label it Phenonip for example.
