SoyKandles
What would be great ingredients to make a soap with Pine Tar in it? Olive oil, shea butter, palm kernel . . . is anyone willing to share their recipe? I've read that you can add up to 20% Pine Tar in your recipe, is this right? Thanks,Susan
SoyKandles
Can you help me out with this question?
Lorrie
I don't have a recipe but I have been reading up on pine tar. It seems that you can use any recipe that you wish and yes you can use up to 20% of it in a recipe. From what I have been reading it will make your soap trace super fast.. Hopefully someone who has actually soaped with it will chime in here.
ChrisR
Do a google search of pine tar soap recipe......I think it's Summer Bee Meadow that has a lye calculator that includes pine tar. Just take your favorite recipe and add in the pine tar, but make sure you have everything ready cause it does trace super fast!!
