firstlady
Hi, you will get more help over in the candle making section:) not off topic. i don't make pillars , but i think blues & white would look like cool water, maybe white on top then a lighter blue, then a darker blue for third layer . Scented
What makes you think of water/cool water/or the smell you get? Use those colors There's nothing out there saying a scented candle HAS to be a certain color (unless you work for me! J/K!)
Fern
For me...I envision different shades of blue...maybe some deep, medium or light blues and bit of white for foaming waves. I wouldn't do very distinct layers, I'd probably go for a slightly tilted, rustic and with each layer blending into one another...with a slight swish here and there after each layer is poured. But...you'd have to learn how to do rustics first.
