TartAddict
Hi all!Okay, don't laugh I'm completely mathematically challenged here. I'm trying to make my own lavender vanilla. It was recommended that I use a 1:3 ratio. Soooo....if I want .5 oz of FO (testing it in tarts), would I then use .1 of lavender and .4 of WVS to get the .5 oz? I've googled around and can't seem to find what I need. Any thoughts? And yes, I know this is stuff that is learned in 3rd grade...my brain has just eliminated any mathematical knowledge I might have attained, LOL.Thanks!D
sugarysweet95
A ratio of 1:3 means that you want 3 times as much of one than the other. o.5 oz is quite a tricky number, but basically i'd go with 0.125 and 0.375 = .5 No idea how easy that is to measure out though so it might be easier to have a bit less, say .1 and .3 = .4 or a bit more, say .15, .45 = 6 Basically whatever the first amount, you want 3 times the second amount. Hope that helps
TartAddict
Thank you so much That's exactly what I did (whoo hoo, maybe I'm not so mathmatically challenged, LOL). My scale won't go to .375, so I rounded up. But basically the same I appreciate it!D
