Citronella wicking??

Recommended Posts

Call me silly!! I am making outdoor container Citronella, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, and Lavender candles and am searching for wicking! Doing more google searches, now Im confused because I know I read somewhere about the SB#10 wicks and cant find that info!!

The container that I am using has a 5" opening, but spreads out to 7" and the container is 6" tall.

I have been reading that the citronella candles need to smoke and others say it doesnt have to!! I am now soooooo confused and getting eaten up alive while Im trying to figure it out! LOL

Any and all advise is welcomed!!

God bless,

Actually, I'd never heard of a #10SB but this post got me thinking. I remember seeing citronella wicking at Candlewic. They do have a #10 SB. The problem is you have to buy in bulk. Maybe try triple wicking with a larger size SB wick.
