moefun
i was making a 2lbs batch and i forgot to put in the flax oil it was 10% of the recipe. the soap is almost rock hard. i almost couldn't get it out of the mold. the colors didn't swirl they dotted up. that wha ti get for rushing. so now is it good for anything or should i just throw it out to be safe. slow-burn
you can always rebatch it:)
RobinInOR
Run the recipe as you actually made it through a calculator like MMS and see where your lye discount % actually came out too. Sometimes it comes out OK, just a smaller superfat... I've always been afraid to rebatch lye heavy soap - afraid little pockets of lye heavy pieces will stick around somehow and not get incorporated. But that's just me, I don't like to rebatch anyway...
