Fern Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 If I had to do a repour on tarts, I'd switch to a different type of wax. One thing you can do is either pour at a very cool temp...say around 150 and you may get a smoother top or...add a soft container wax to it starting at 25% and working up to a max of 50% to see what it will take to get a smooth top, without having to do a repour. I'd still suggest pouring at around 150 because the cooler you pour, the less shrinkage to tend to get. Good luck! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
