Bath Bombs Made In Molds ??

For those of you that make these in molds how do you get a smooth surface on the top of the mold? I made some but couldn't get a nice smooth surface on them. TIA for the help.

I just push the mixture in there with equal pressure. The backs are not smooth but I don't care. I try to get the backs as smooth as possible but can't get it as smooth as the front.

Thank you that is what I did the tops look great I'm thinking of packing them real full and maybe taking a long spatula and rubbing across them and see if this helps them look any better.

I have used a popsicle stick before, to smooth out the bottoms, after I pour them.
