I suppose the largest amount would be like 100% lol.

I know there were ppl on the whisk who were making 100% coconut soaps just to see if changing the sap value on coconut tended to be less irritating. Since PKO is somehow related to the coconut, I would think you could CP it at 100%. I don't know why you'd want to though.

From my research 10 - 15% is plenty when combined with other oils. PKO as well as coconut have been known to have a drying effect. But that is not to say that is the highest amount that can be used. It makes a hard bar so it seems like it may get crumbly.

I made up a soap with 50% shea butter , it was wonderful. Some said it wouldn't turn out, others said I was bucking the conventional soaping "rules" but you won't know til you try. Wish I could help but I do not use PKO.
