friendlyMOM
Can I use the same thing that I used to melt my wax for my soap oils? The reason I ask is I have been using a small crock pot and it will only hold 2lbs, wanted something to melt a larger percentage of oils. eugenia
I would not use my presto for anything but wax. I use a double boiler to melt my oils and a large stainless pot to make the soap.

Luci
Go to the Salvation Army. I go there regularly looking for glassware for dessert candles. However, the last time I noticed brand new crock pots in various sizes, prestos, etc. You'd be surprised what you find there.

Do you just want to melt the oils? I do not think you can use it for HP, like a crockpot.
