Thanks Butterfly, I'll take any info you want to share. I'm use to using J223 and Astorlite V so this is gonna be a whole new ballgame for me. I think I'm gonna be doing alot of research in the near future. I'm almost out of J223...can this paraffin be mixed to make a container wax? I know this is a trial and error thing...I guess I'd better read up on my game plan. Ginger

Well, the thing is I don't know what you could use it for besides hurricanes and the like. The MP seems too high for pillars or much else.

No wonder they gave it to me....they didn't know what to do with it either. Ginger
How about some everlasting pillars? That might be a good project that isn't too complicated. You could go to Pourette and get a tin plated pillar mold and one of the tealight insert plugs. Then add just a little bit of Universal Additive to the wax so it molds nicely and comes out smooth. Maybe dye it on the light side so it glows through a bit and pour some tealights with white wax in the clear polycarbonate cups to go in the top.

Top, why a tin plated pillar mold versus another kind of pillar and what are the tealight/votive plugs made out of? Just curious. Ginger
The inserts work well with the tin molds, which Pourette specializes in (they're one of the sources suppliers get them from). The insert screws into the wick hole to change the shape of the top so there's space to drop in a tealight. http://www.pourette.com/product.asp?Product_Id=28209&d_Id=7010&l1=7010&l2=
