ScentsandMore
I purchased some of the mugs in the recent enamelware co-op and was going to use them to make shaving mugs. I have never made them before but to me these mugs seem pretty large. Anyone that purchased these same mugs what are your thoughts on using them for shaving mugs? I guess I could use them to make kitchen candles. Any other suggestions on what to use them for? Thanks.
Meridith
I wasn't in this coop but I do use the same type of mugs for my shaving soaps. They work great and look really good.
Labgal
I got a few of these from the coop to use as shaving mugs. I figured I would fill them 1/2 to 3/4 full to leave room for the lather. Never used them before so I guess we'll see hhow it works!!!
CareBear
My dad used to use one. He would get a small round of shaving soap that would fit into the bottom of the mug. I'd say the soap was no more than 3/4" thick, and the mug was probably 3.5" deep. You need to leave a lot of room for lathering action!
