cmille3 Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 I don't make candles. I bought a kit but used the jars and wax for B&B and soap instead. I did read a couple of threads about using a heat gun to smooth out the top. Fast forward to last night. DD3 wanted to give her teacher a candle. But she scratched the wax on the top ('cuz she's 3). She came to me in tears and I remembered the heat gun thread.It worked, DD stopped crying, and all was well in her happy world.Thank you!
