tealfrank
Hello. Newbie question. I've read tons of these threads, and must have missed the answer to my question. When you do the re-pour, do you pour while the wax is hot (IE 185) or slushy? I'm assuming I pour while it's hot. I'm using Calsoy CB3 if that matters. Thanks! jennifer
From the research that I have done, you should do the second pour about 10 degrees hotter than the first pour. HTH
Kaybee23
For a container blend, I poke the candle after it has cooled off, and hit it with a heatgun (well, not literally hit). It usually fills in the holes and smoothes out the tops. You can also keep out a bit of your wax in the pot, poke your holes after the candle sets up and melt your wax in the pot with your heatgun and fill in the holes that way. I use a skewer for the holes and make them about the diam. of a pencil, and usually do about 3 or 4. Of course everyone has their own method that works for them. You will just have to play around and see what works best for you.
