Blest2BAmerican
Does anyone know of a good hurricane wax that has good FO retention?
sharyl55
What are you going to use it for? IGI 1260 holds 6% FO. I mix 1260 and 6228 to make my scented wax seashells. They smell great set out in a room for a couple of months.
Blest2BAmerican
I'm making electric candles. I've tried IGI 1343 and liked the result I got but there isn't a good scent throw. I also tried a pillar wax and liked the scent throw on it but I was testing the strength of it didn't meet my standards. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm off to check it out. DanaE
Sharyl - thanks for that. I have two cases of the 1260 I bought on clearance but didn't know if it had a high enough scent retention to make it worthwhile to use in a pillar or hurricane (I was using it just for embeds). Whenever I get through with my current experiments I'm going to play with it. I actually bought it to roll cinnamon buns, but I'm too lazy to do it...DanaE
