flutterbye
ok, this is driving me crazy! I started pouring candles last fall-ish, when it was always cool. But now that it's warm, and it is really warm here lately, I'm having lots of problems! I dont know if it's coincidence or the temps...None of my candles will rustic (the last 7 I poured) They keep coming out mostly mottled or solid. Same wax, same formula as always, pour at 150, chilling molds in fridge..the only thing different is that it's so darn hot and the room i pour in always get sun so it's unbearably warm. Could it be the room temps that are doing this?? Does anyone else have this problem??
cybersix
Yes, I believe it is because it's getting warmer. Some days ago I tried to pour a rustic in the same way I usually do, but I got a very smooth finish candle!!
Margaritamama
Try putting your molds in the fridge for a while.........
