GAREY
Hi, I'm testing Eco Soya and I really like the LX wicks. I do pint and quart jars. My first test adding 1/2 tea of vybar to hold the scent - even though I know this already has additives (my candles really hold a scent with vybar) - I pour my test candles without a wick. That way I can use a nail and make a hole and then just keep pulling out a wick to test. Never had a candle without a wick do a sink hole? I heated 175 poured at 150. I have always had to heat my jars and wonder if that's what it was. Any ideas please help? Johann
iammommytwo
I do not add anything to mine (additives). I only heat to 150-155, and pour @ 125. I do not have to heat my jars this time of year.
GAREY
Hi Sheri, thanks for the reply - I'll pour at 125 - which is what I thought. I'll try to heat up at a lower temp too. Johann
