Bakery candles

Recommended Posts

Hello candle makers! I have just recently started making candles as a hobby! My interest is in Bakery style candles. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I tried making muffins and banana nut bread and cinnamon buns first from parrifan wax and then from soy. The soy wax when finally whipped (took forever) looks great but I dont like the texture. I have finally decided to go with parrifan wax. I am trying to get new supplies and I am having trouble finding sand colored diamond dye chips. Can anyone give me any advice as where to look for dyes, fragrence, wax and such for good prices? Also any great helpful ideas for making this type of candle would be warmly welcomed.

Hugginsluvins!

for color, i love the ivory dye from C&S. www.candlesandsupplies.com Works really well. I love thier "production preblend, for votives" for my bakery stuff. It Works really well with every fragrance i have tried, and already contains the additives that parrafin needs to make yummy candles. Use a standard whisk and it's a dream to whip.:highfive:
