KimM
I just got a rooster punched tin warmer and I put one of my soy tarts in it and it smells like it is BURNING the tart.I took the top off and it smells down inside there, like burning and not so much the tart which is all melted. I am wondering if anyone has one of these and if this is normal for the first time plugging it in. I have never used this kind, so not sure.I still have it plugged in, hoping that is the case. Raggedy Dani
I have not had good luck with punched tin warmers.not to crazy bout it over all due to it being hot and had 2 of them stop working on me after 2 months of usages. and sometime it don't melt the wax, sometime it does and it's to hot. i now carry differnt kind of warmers, hatbox stacking ceramics warmers.very nice to have and no problems with them.HugsDani
Jane42
I have a punched tin electric warmer have never noticed a burning smell - I have only melted paraffin tarts. Wish I could help you with some ideas as to what it may be....
KimM
Well I think it was the tart I had melting. It was Brown Sugar Pecan and I changed the tart to Creamy Coconut Pie and it smelled better, so I think the smell was burnt sugar, now that I think about it.
